ADAT Hangar, Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies needed a new hangar to service the new A380 aircraft - with a wingspan of over 79 metres and a height of 25 metres, maintenance of the aircraft required it.

This project was won in an international tender and features a clever design that enabled parts of the project to initiate commercial operation in stages and far earlier than initially envisaged by the client. The project includes administrative/workshop space along with the maintenance bays.
