Auckland Airport

Auckland Airport is currently ranked the ninth best airport worldwide and the leader in Australasia.  As the primary gateway to New Zealand, Auckland International Airport is the busiest airport in the country and second in Australasia for international traffic volumes. 

When Auckland decided to undertake a major expansion of the Jean Batten international terminal, it was critical that passenger and freight operations throughout. The three year $125m fast track project was completed in multiple stages, to ensure that the airport maintained a fully functioning terminal through the entire development. 

The project demanded an excellent engineering solution to provide flexibility for the terminal needs into the future.  In some areas provisions for future expansion were implemented during the project construction to accommodate the airport's rapid growth. 

  • Our contribution to Auckland Airport is part of the International Terminal.
