The Auckland
War Memorial Museum is one of New Zealand's most valuable
heritage buildings. This is a $43M major refurbishment completed
at the end of 1999, included seismic strengthening. The strengthening
scheme was targetted at areas of weakness, complementing the
existing structure and enabling a sympathetic and cost effective
solution. Holmes Consulting Group also advised on the design
of all display structures. |
