Civic Theatre Refurbishment
The Civic
Theatre in Auckland, New Zealand, is a historical landmark and
was completed in 1930. The
refurbishment was completed in late 1999 and has restored the
main public spaces to their original state. The
structural upgrading which was included in the overall refurbishment
required a sensitive and integrated design to ensure that structural
modifications were not apparent in the historical, restored
public spaces of the theatre.
