In Auckland, the Deloitte Centre was completed in 2009 and is a five-star Green Star rated project. It is a mix of office space and retail.  More about the project and images are featured here.

In Wellington, the Supreme Court of New Zealand is a finalist as well. The project included the restoration of the Old High Court building as part of the complex. The engineering included base isolation, strengthening and refurbishment. More about the project and images here.

ACENZ is the professional association for consulting engineering firms in New Zealand. It has 180 members ranging from one-person firms to those with over 1000 employees. Although only one overseas project is presented in 2010, members carry out work all over the world.

  • Supreme Court: The ovoid shaped main courtroom is a spectacular feature at the heart of the new building, clad in copper externally and with timber interior panelling.
