Kakariki House - Wises Trust

Holmes Consulting Group worked on Kakariki House in Hamilton East, as a rehabilitation of an existing building. Formerly a Mitre 10 store, the Wise Group sought to renovate it to accommodate five of the affiliated organisations.

Targeting a Green Star NZ Office Design Four Star rating, the $4 million development includes 13 meeting rooms, two board rooms, a training room and a creative space.

The project also won a New Zealand Institute of Architects award in 2009.

The building also has a café, a relaxing atrium and a small gym complete with showers and lockers to encourage employees to have healthy lifestyles.
