The Remarkables Park retail commercial development is located at the foothills of the Remarkables range in Queenstown.  Building 7 pictured was a fast tracked project designed and constructed in 2006 by Holmes Consulting Group, Mason and Wales Architects and Naylor Love Construction.  The structural scheme was developed to suit the contrators requirements to ensure a fast project delivery whilst maintaining an economical solution for the client.  The structure mainly comprises of precast concrete panels with double tee flooring systems that are flange hung on structural steel beams.  A lightweight structural steel trussed roof was designed to meet the aesthetic requirements for alpine resort styling. The project is a fine example of a collaborative team design approach.
