HOW WE DO IT

For close to 60 years, we’ve based our great reputation on an unwavering commitment to quality. We’re not into cutting corners, and we never leave things to chance. Our clients love Holmes Consulting’s attention to detail and our commitment to keeping our heads in the game – from project kick off right through until the last day on site, and even beyond. That’s why we’ve been trusted to deliver so many challenging and exciting structural projects all over the world.

Sitting alongside our enduring commitment to quality is the creative spirit and curiosity that flows through our design teams day-to-day. We love exploring and creating new structural systems, finding better ways to improve performance and efficiency, as well as saving time and money. We’re not innovating to win awards or trying things for the sake of it: we’re breaking new ground to capitalise on opportunities to deliver even more value.

While we never lose focus on quality or creativity, we’re also expert team players, with the character and personality to make a contribution well beyond our specialist skills. We enjoy collaborating with our project partners, and go out of our way to see and hear their points of view for the good of the team. When we’re called on to take the lead, we’re confident and communicative, feeding off the creative hum of the wider team. Perhaps above all, we’re personable and approachable – engineers that break the old stereotype, with a ready sense of humour and the open-mindedness that makes us fun to work with.
